Energy very near – EVERYNEAR – nearby energy is our mission.

When founded in 2009, the company’s aim was the design and the development of a unique solution covering infrastructural needs to support the increasing number of electric vehicles. Together with selected and highly experienced partners, EVERYNEAR achieved to demonstrate this solution already in the field in mid 2010 and is now in the roll-out phase. First innovative customers, market leaders in the telecom and the utility business in Austria have already chosen EVERYNEAR as strategic partner to enter this new and promising field.

Together with EOX, specialized in providing spatial observation information technology solutions and navigation data EVERYNEAR implemented a unique solution to find charging stations in an interactive geographical database for use in car navigation systems. In addition to this, a special patent pending process allows the efficient short term reservation on smart phones without the deviation of the driver during the trip. By means of that unique process, the traffic caused by searching a free parking lot can be reduced to 0.Opposite to other systems, where reservation blocks the station for a long time, blocking time is optimized including drivers safety.

Authorization of a user is open and easy. The EVERYNEAR system can integrate CitizenCards, car sharing cards and even hotel room keys based on RFID. The authorization module has also already been prepared for intermodal mobility. Parallel to this, the unique and patent pending JUST-PLUG system allows the encoding of standard industry plugs even in the field, avoiding the need of proprietary connection systems. Due to EVERYNEARs close partnership with PAYBOX, the leading Austrian provider of mobile payment, the charging infrastructure is already open to several million mobile phone users all over Europe when using SMS. As a member of the consortium, PAYBOX is also providing a complete, proven and efficient payment process and the outstanding technical infrastructure to control and manage every single charging station.

Each charging station is managed remote like a node in a network, providing the user and the operator with all necessary data, status, charging duration and much more. FH Joanneum Kapfenberg, another member of the consortium is developing the electronic parts of the charging station for EVERYNEAR.

Together with CIRQUENT, EVERYNEAR has designed and developed JPAC – the just plug administration centre – a single SW platform offering a huge set of tools to administrate users and charging station from a marketing and commercial as well as from the technical side. JPAC is even prepared for smart grid functionality like load balancing and “Grid to vehicle”.

A set of different models of charging stations covering the needs of public positioning to private garages is available. Beside an extremely competitive cost structure, unique patent pending features for safety, avoidance of damage and vandalism, the unobtrusive design fits even in zones of architectural sensitivity.

EVERYNEAR is acting as an enabler of Infrastructure for Utility and Telecom companies, communities, parking garage companies and mobility providers. The e-mobiltity solution is sold as a service to minimize start up costs or a licensing model where the user can run the whole system on his own, fully integrated in his own IT infrastructure.
